JUAN Night with Jose and Wally

Imagine not being able to do activities that you regularly did every single day of your life. Imagine losing weight and getting thinner by the day. Imagine not being able to carry your baby because your hands are trembling - and not being able to breathe because your heart is pounding violently inside your chest as if it wanted to get out. Now, imagine all these things happening while you are doing nothing! This is exactly how it is for patients suffering from thyrotoxicosis - a condition wherein a person's thyroid has too much production of its own hormones.

May 25 was World Thyroid Day. Here in the Philippines, several activities were conducted to raise thyroid awareness among the general population. Among which was an outreach in Cabiao, Nueva Ecija, and the launching of a fundraiser organized by the Philippine Society of Nuclear Medicine (PSNM).

The show, "JUAN Night with Jose and Wally", will feature none other than Jose Manalo and Wally Bayola, regular co-hosts in GMA's Eat Bulaga; with guests Ethel Booba and Anton Diva. Showing at the Crossroad 77 Convenarium at the corner of Mother Ignacia and Scout Reyes in Quezon City at 8PM on July 6, 2013, the event aims to raise funds for PSNM to sponsor the cost of Radioactive Iodine (RAI) Treatment of 10 patients suffering from thyroid diseases - mainly from thyrotoxicosis.

Indeed a cause worthwhile, everyJUAN is invited to this night of entertainment, fun and laughter!
